SUBJECT: BUDGET RETREAT <br />DATE: JULY 12, 2018 <br />PAGE 11 OF 17 <br />Conservation Trust — Lottery Fund <br />The Conservation Trust — Lottery Fund was established in 1974, to account for the <br />distribution of proceeds from the Colorado State Lottery. State law mandates that a <br />Conservation Trust Fund be established to record revenue and expenditures and that <br />these funds be restricted for acquisition, development, and maintenance of new <br />conservation sites or for capital improvements or maintenance for recreational purposes <br />on any public site. <br />The following two charts present the 2019-2024 Capital Improvements Plan and a long- <br />term forecast for the Conservation Trust — Lottery Fund.
