Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: September 30, 2002 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />The following items on the Local Licensing Authority Agenda are considered routine by the Authority and <br />the consent agenda as a whole shall be approved not as individual items, accepted, etc. by motion of the <br />Authority and roll call vote unless the Local Licensing Authority or Authority Member specifically requests <br />that such item be considered under "Authority Business". In such an event the item shall be removed <br />from the "Consent Calendar" and the Authority action taken separately on said item in the order <br />appearing on the Agenda. Those items so approved under the heading "Consent Calendar" will appear in <br />the Authority minutes in their proper order. <br /> <br />Ao <br /> <br />Renewal Application - Restaurant Concepts II, LLC, d/b/a Applebee's <br />Neighborhood Grill & Bar- Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 594 S. McCaslin <br />Blvd. <br /> <br />Renewal Application -Albertson's, Inc., d/b/a Albertson's Food Center 812 - 3.2 <br />Beer License (Off Premises) - 910 W. Cherry St. <br /> <br />Member Sackett moved to approve the consent agenda. Member Kimmett seconded <br />the motion. Roll Call Vote: Koertje-yes, Kimmett-yes, Sackett-yes, Wilson-yes. All <br />members were in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY BUSINESS <br /> <br />Public Hearing - New Liquor License Application - Jalisco Fiesta, Inc., d/b/a <br />Cancun Mexican Restaurant- Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 1006 Pine <br />Street. <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Koertje opened the hearing then moved that the application be <br />made part of the record of the hearing. Member Wilson seconded. All were in <br />favor. <br /> <br />Deputy Schmidt swore in Mr. Angel Flores, owner of Jalisco Fiesta, Inc., d/b/a <br />Mexican Restaurant. Mr. Flores introduced himself and stated that his address <br />was 3136 Birch St, Parker, CO 80134. <br /> <br />Member Wilson asked about the registered manager at the other restaurant <br />owned and operated by applicant. Mr. Flores stated that he is the owner of the <br />other restaurant but his sister is the registered manager. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett asked Deputy Schmidt if she received satisfactory answers to <br />questions that had been brought up by Attorney Harrington. Deputy Schmidt <br />replied that she had and included the documents in the packets. <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Koertjeasked Mr. Flores if had conducted any type of survey in <br />the surrounding neighborhood. Mr. Flores stated that 20-25 people stop by the <br />establishment every day inquiring when it will be opening.
