MEMORANDUM <br /> TO Members, Louisville Building Code Board of Appeals and Review <br /> FROM Thomas Talboom, Chief Building Official <br /> DATE August 9, 2000 <br /> SUBJECT Repeal of 1997 International Plumbing Code <br /> At the direction of the Louisville City Council, our City Attorney is drafting an ordinance to <br /> repeal the 1997 International Plumbing Code, and adopt the plumbing code the State <br /> Board of Plumbers has adopted, the 1997 Uniform Plumbing Code The City Administrator <br /> has advised me that the City Council's decision does not reflect on the excellent job you <br /> all did in performing your duties reviewing and making recommendations to adopt the IPC <br /> We will be meeting on August 24, 2000, at 7 00 p m in the council chambers to review the. <br /> ordinance and any amendments you wish to recommend to the City Council Packets for <br /> the meeting will be going out as soon as we receive the ordinance from our attorney, <br /> hopefully by August 14, 2000 The ordinance is tentatively scheduled for first reading at the <br /> regular council meeting on September 5, 2000 It is scheduled for second reading and <br /> public hearing on October 3, 2000 <br />
