the Authority should adopt a policy that will not hold up application for fingerprints, on the 31 st <br />the Authority will set a public hearing date for new application by Kaddy Shack. <br /> <br />Griffiths will pull information that was provided to City Council regarding fingerprinting process <br />and provide that information to the Authority on 1/31/94. <br /> <br />7. DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - NOTIFICATION OF LOCAL RENEWALS <br /> <br />Secretary to the Authority asked if the Authority would like to establish a local notification <br />process for renewals other than the state notification. Authority felt that it is the responsibility of <br />the applicant and that state notification would be sufficient. <br /> <br />8. REVIEW/ESTABLISH - BYLAWS FOR LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />Griffiths gave a brief overview to the Authority of a proposed draft bylaws and bylaws of other <br />municipalities. Griffiths asked the Authority for their input and explained that the bylaws must <br />also be approved by the City Council. Bylaws will be presented to the City Council at the <br />February 15, 1994 meeting. <br /> <br />Amendments to proposed draft bylaws: <br />Page 2.Addition of Section 4. Under Article II. Code of Ethics - Authority and Authority <br /> members are subject to... <br /> <br />Amendments to Section 4. Under Article II. Election and Terms of Officers. - <br />Officers shall be appointed at the first regular meeting following the appointment <br />of members by the City Council... <br /> <br />Pages 2 &3 <br /> <br />Amendment to Section 1. Under Article II. Meetings - change from specific day <br />of month to as scheduled by the Authority at first regular meeting following <br />annual appointment of members by the City Council... <br /> <br />Page 3 Amendments to Section 2. Notice of Meetings - posting shall be placed <br /> on the bulletin board at east entrance or at other public locations as determined by <br /> the Authority at first regular meeting in January of each year... <br /> Amendments to Section 2b. Under Article II. Notice of Meetings - written notices <br /> of special meetings will be served to members at least 48 hours prior to scheduled <br /> meeting or mailed not less than five calendar days prior to scheduled meeting. No <br /> notice necessary to Authority Member if member was in attendance at regular <br /> meeting where special meeting is scheduled. <br /> <br />Amendment to Section 4. Under Article II.
