IC Cityoj
Im Louisville
COLORADO - SINCE 1878
VII. Park Evaluation Discussion to Include Key
Performance Indicators and Scorecard: The Board
continued revision of the parks scorecard used for the
initial 2016 Parks Grade Report. It was decided that the
main things to consider when reviewing the parks are
amenities, conditions, and how the park meets the needs
of the community. The parks might be better compared by
breaking them into the categories of Cemetery, Parks with
Shelter Rentals, Athletic Fields, and Pocket Parks. The
parks could also be divided into categories of Regional,
Community, and Pocket Parks. The Parks Grade Report
will be based on the following criteria: Amenities,
Landscape, Trees, Play Fields, Capital Needs, Total
Score, and Comments. Dean will assign parks to PPLAB
members along with the updated scorecard so members
will be able to report back at the October meeting.
Members can take pictures of items of concern during
their park visits and present to the Board to help with
standardization and less subjectivity as the parks are
scored.
VIII. Review of PPLAB Questions for Board Application
Process: The Board approved the current list of
questions.
IX. Agenda Items for Next Meeting: Dean will be presenting
the current practices and procedures the City has in place
for herbicide use as well as how the City arrived at these
practices. Members will report back with the Parks Grade
Reports of their assigned parks.
x.
