Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 19, 2018 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />safety. 300 comments so far. Focus on: all ages, all abilities, all modes. Looking at SAP. <br />Where is there a complement? Council directive on TMP: be explicit on sustainability and <br />economic development. <br />Regional planning. Balance to city character and accommodating regional growth. <br />Notably impacts to 42, McCaslin, So Boulder Road. <br />Regional connections. <br />Strategies to reduce GHG emissions. <br />Public -private partnerships: <br />First mile and last mile barriers. <br />Intra-city connections. <br />Plan will have goals, strategies and indicators. Much of discussion focused on strategies. <br />Assessment of current system will go online. Next document: drafting strategies and <br />projects. Plan on coming back to LSAB early 2019. <br />III. Xcel Partners in Energy Program Report — no Xcel representatives. <br />IV. Sustainability Series: Continue to discuss topics and dates <br />Sustainability Series: Survey results and content/speakers for talks: <br />• Top four topics were: Waste Diversion- Sept 26; Transport- Oct 23, Local Food & <br />Agricultural- mid -November, Energy & Renewables- early December. <br />• Items to consider: liming, Audience, Format, Partners (internal & external) and <br />Location. <br />• All events: sign in sheets, try to capture more info from participants. <br />V. Sustainability Questionnaire Annual Review — no changes. <br />VI. Open Government Training: Monday October 29th at City Hall — Seth, Heather, <br />Allison and Marianne <br />VII. Log volunteer hours. See table below. <br />VIII. Items for discussion at next meeting (October 17) <br />• Xcel PIE summary <br />• Recap first Sustainability Series Event <br />• Process and timeframe for SAP update; aiming for January 2020 to council. <br />• Review status of 2-year goals. <br />• Discuss November and/or December meeting date changes. <br />IX.
