This is the first year following the reconstruction of the golf course that the course will be charged for water. o Past water charges have been: ■ 2016 $73,000 ■ 2017 $1,500 ■ 2018 $131,000 budgeted, $231,000 projected ■ 2019 $245,000 budgeted o However, the golf course primarily uses reuse water, which is significantly cheaper than the rate being used. Council to discuss. • Aeration to be completed week of 9/24. • Solenoid change outs week of 10/1. • City forester is assessing condition of course trees. • David Baril and Ginger Cross attended a conference, which has led to the generation of new ideas for the course. • September actual numbers have exceeded the monthly forecast by 9/23. • Over 21,000 rounds played YTD. • YTD revenues are ahead of budget, $1,022,000 actual versus $1,014,000 budgeted. Advertising/Marketing Update — Ginger Cross • Subcommittee meeting deferred due to scheduling problems. • Taglines are a challenge. These were discussed. • Subcommittee is waiting for staff input. Finance Sub -Committee Update — Michele Van Pelt • Met week of 9/17.
