This is the first year following the reconstruction of the golf <br />course that the course will be charged for water. <br />o Past water charges have been: <br />■ 2016 $73,000 <br />■ 2017 $1,500 <br />■ 2018 $131,000 budgeted, $231,000 projected <br />■ 2019 $245,000 budgeted <br />o However, the golf course primarily uses reuse water, which is <br />significantly cheaper than the rate being used. Council to discuss. <br />• Aeration to be completed week of 9/24. <br />• Solenoid change outs week of 10/1. <br />• City forester is assessing condition of course trees. <br />• David Baril and Ginger Cross attended a conference, which has led to the <br />generation of new ideas for the course. <br />• September actual numbers have exceeded the monthly forecast by 9/23. <br />• Over 21,000 rounds played YTD. <br />• YTD revenues are ahead of budget, $1,022,000 actual versus $1,014,000 <br />budgeted. <br />Advertising/Marketing Update — Ginger Cross <br />• Subcommittee meeting deferred due to scheduling problems. <br />• Taglines are a challenge. These were discussed. <br />• Subcommittee is waiting for staff input. <br />Finance Sub -Committee Update — Michele Van Pelt <br />• Met week of 9/17.
