RESOLUTION NO 50 <br />SERIES 2018 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR <br />THE DISALVO HOUSE LOCATED AT 1021 MAIN STREET <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />DiSalvo House, a historic residential structure located at 1021 Main Street, on property <br />legally described as Lot 5-6, Block 1, Barclay Place, Town of Louisville, City of Louisville, <br />State of Colorado and <br />WHEREAS, the Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br />reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 3.20 605 D and <br />Section 15.36 120 of the Louisville Municipal Code, and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed Preservation and Restoration grant application and has <br />recommended the request be forwarded to the Louisville City Council with a recommendation <br />of approval, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed Preservation and <br />Restoration grant application and the Commission's recommendation and report, and has <br />held a properly noticed public hearing on the application, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed improvements will assist in the <br />preservation of the DiSalvo House, a local historic landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO• <br />Section 1 The City Council hereby approves the Preservation and Restoration <br />Grant Application for work at the DiSalvo House located 1021 Main Street, subject to the <br />following <br />1 Approved items are those in the proposed scope of work presented to City <br />Council totaling $42,929 <br />2 There is approved a total grant amount of $42,929 <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of No tuber, 2Q18 <br />ATTEST <br />, City Clerk <br />P Muckle <br />Resolution No. 50, Series 2018 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
