37
In 1966, Great West Savings & Loan sold the property to Ernest and Lucile Davis. They in
turn sold to Jo Ann B. Purcell in 1968.
Jo Ann Purcell was associated with the property for forty years. She was born Jo Ann
Bastian in 1932 in California. Records indicate that she attended the University of
Colorado and married John Purcell in 1953. A family tree on Ancestry.com indicates that
they divorced before 1970. According to her obituary, she worked as a teacher for
Boulder Valley School District. Her obituary also indicates that she had four children
when she purchased 107 Rose.
In 2008, she transferred the property to the J.A. Purcell Irrevocable Trust. She died in
2008. The Trust sold 107 Rose in 2011 to Roel Omar Rodriguez and Kimberley Travis
Rodriguez.
As of this year, 2014, the owners are Pamela Foster and Michael Foster.
The preceding research is based on a review of relevant and available online County property records,
census records, oral history interviews, and related resources, and Louisville directories, newspaper
articles, maps, files, obituary records, survey records, and historical photographs from the collection of
the Louisville Historical Museum.
4
