An additional small building shown on a separate 1948 Assessor card for the property was
reported to consist of 288 square feet. It may have been used for boarders, and it may still be
standing. The following is the photo of it from the card:
In 1950, Annunciata Romano transferred ownership of the entire parcel to herself, her son
George Jr., and her daughter Clementina. They all continued to live in the house. George Jr. and
Clementina became the owners upon Annunciata's death in 1969. In 1983, George Jr.
transferred his ownership interest to his sister, Clementina.
The following aerial photo from 1962 shows a view looking east, with the Romano compound
visible at the top, the railroad tracks crossing in the middle, and the homes of Mary Romano
and Carmen Romano on County Rd. at the bottom:
In 1987, Clementina Romano platted the Romano property as the Clementine Subdivision. Lot 2
contains the house at 301 East St.
3
