547 East <br />IAri APMlni9. h, paw, De, <br />547 East — Current Photo <br />This is the second main house on the tract in which family members lived. It was the residence <br />of Mary Romano Waugh and Henry Waugh for many years and it was named as the residence <br />of Mary Waugh in her obituary when she died in 1988. (Mary Romano Waugh was the owner of <br />the parcel from 1924 to 1947, and her daughter, Helen Stumpf, was the owner of the parcel <br />from 1947 to 2001.) It appears that the County gives circa 1900 as the date of construction, and <br />the Planning Dept. has indicated that it was remodeled circa 1940. The Assessor Card from <br />which the images below were taken specifically identifies this house as having been moved in <br />from a different location. <br />The following photos and ground layout image are from an Assessor Card dated 1954 that does <br />not specifically identify the house as being the one at 547 East, though it does indicate that it <br />was on Tract 740A. The images are included here because the house in the photo bears a very <br />strong resemblance to the current structure at 547 East and is believed to that house: <br />6 <br />
