The following photo from a D'Andrea family tree posted on Ancestry.com shows Floriana and
Antonio:
The D'Andrea family moved to southern Colorado between 1910 and 1912. At the time of the
1920 census, they were living in El Paso County, Colorado. It seems likely that the house was
rented out during the time when the D'Andrea family still owned 905 Lincoln and before they
sold it.
According to the Boulder County Assessor's Office website, 905 Lincoln was constructed in
1907. The date of construction of 1907 was also stated on the 1948 County Assessor card for
905 Lincoln. Boulder County has sometimes been found to be in error with respect to the dates
of construction for historic buildings in Louisville. For this reason, other evidence is looked to. In
this case, the date of 1907 appears likely to be accurate. Floriana D'Andrea purchased all three
lots by 1907, and she and her husband already had a growing family and the need for a house.
In addition, a house is shown as being located on these lots on the 1909 Drumm's Wall Map of
Louisville, so it was constructed by that time. The D'Andrea family is also shown to be living in
this location in the 1910 federal census records. For these reasons, the date of construction is
assumed to be 1907.
Emilio Staffieri Ownership, 1923-1926
In 1923, Floriana D'Andrea sold 905 Lincoln to Emilio Staffieri of Louisville. In 1926, He sold it to
Mike Bosko.
Bosko Family Ownership, 1926-1939
In 1926, Mike Bosko (1861-1939), who lived in the Little Italy neighborhood of Louisville,
purchased 905 Lincoln from Emilio Staffieri. In 1933, Mike Bosko transferred ownership to his
son, Thomas Bosko (1901-1969), who owned it until 1939. The 1936 directory for Louisville lists
Mike Bosko and his wife, Katie (1864-1939), as living on Lincoln Ave., likely in this house.
2
