He loved planting trees <br />and gave them away to family and friends." She also wrote of her mother's involvement with <br />the women of the St. Louis Church and the annual chicken dinners that the women would <br />prepare to raise funds for the Church. <br />The following photos of 920 Lincoln were taken not long after Joe and Mary Kasenga purchased <br />the house. The first is dated 1946 and the second is believed to have been taken later in the <br />1940s. In both, 920 Lincoln is on the right of the photo, and the rear of the St. Louis School can <br />be seen in the middle background. <br />4 <br />
