This photo, which is believed to date from the 1930s, shows 640 Main in the background <br />on the right, behind a car, with its light colored south wall showing in the photo. The photo <br />was taken looking north on Main Street. In the photo, the fagade of the frame building still <br />looks much the same as it did when it was Huber's Drug Store and there does not appear to <br />be a sign mounted on the building. <br />The following photo is from the 1948 County Assessor card for 640 Main. The fagade of the <br />building had been altered from the Huber Drug Store fagade and also featured signage for <br />specific brands of beverages. There appears to be a sign mounted above the corner <br />entrance, but it is not the large circular neon sign that the public has identified with the <br />building for several decades. <br />The following photo from the Boulder County Assessor Card is believed to date from the <br />time of visits by the County Assessor's Office in 1956 or 1957 and shows the sign, which we <br />now know was installed in 1955. <br />4 <br />
