While the appearance is not really like that of the original building, he says it is <br />intended to look like 'something that could have been built on Main Street in early Louisville.' <br />The article described Sears as having a strong desire to work with historical structures rather <br />than tear them down and build from scratch. <br />Many will remember the various businesses located in the Marketplace Building over the year <br />since 1983, with some of the longest -lasting businesses having been the Marketplace Bakery <br />located on the south side of the front of the building (the current location of 12 Degree <br />Brewing) and B.O.B.S located on the north side of the front.
