owners by Dale and Luann Morrison in 1976 (also residents) and by Thomas and Pamela
Patterson in 1977 (also residents). They sold 631 Johnson to Thomas R. McCrea and David P.
McCrea in 1981, and they were followed as owners by Fred and Rhonda Christensen in 1984.
Louisville directories show that the Christensens were residents of 631 Johnson through the
mid to late 1980s.
In 1990, ownership was by a public trustee and was then transferred to Randel Blough in 1991,
then to J. Michael Nell in 1999. In 2002, Julie and Dennis Boyd purchased this house and the
house became residence of Louisville deputy city manager Julie Boyd. She sold 631 Johnson in
2012 to the current owners, Robert and Karen Kline. Records indicate that the property was
annexed in late 2012 and was sold to the current owner, Joseph A. Teasdale.
The preceding research is based on a review of relevant and available online County property records, census
records, oral history interviews, Louisville directories, and Louisville Historical Museum maps, files, and obituary
records.
Research by Bridget Bacon, Louisville Historical Museum
July 2012; November 2013
