GROUND PLAN SKET` H
FRONT
• Maggie Cunning died in 1963 at the age of 89. Her obituary stated that she died at the
home of her daughter, Nelle Green, who lived across the street on Johnson. The
obituary also stated, "She had kept her home at 729 Johnson St. but for the last 10 years
or so had lived with Mr. and Mrs. Green, returning to her own home for a few hours
each day."
• Following Maggie Cunning's 1963 death, 729 Johnson was conveyed to her daughter,
Mary Cunning Andrew, and her husband, Wilbur. They sold the house in 1968 and it was
at this time that it left the ownership by members of the Cunning family.
Later Owners
• In 1968, the house was purchased by Howard K. Ingram, who owned it until 1991. He is
believed to have remodeled the house in the 1970s. He also owned lots just to the east
of this parcel.
The following photo and ground layout sketch of 729 Johnson are from a later Boulder
County Assessor card. There are indications on the card that these date from 1971 and that
the house was later remodeled in 1974.
