They also owned property very close to their home, on the east side of the 700 block of Front <br />Street, from 1956 to 1974. It was there that Emile had his shop, which was listed in Louisville <br />directories as "Louisville Iron Works." <br />Emile Dangreau was born in Angeles, France in 1907. He, his parents (Eugene Paul and Marie <br />Louise Dangreau), and his sister lived in Kansas and Illinois before coming to Louisville in the <br />1930s. Emile also worked as a coal miner and served with the SeeBees during World War II. His <br />parents and sister lived in the Frenchtown neighborhood, a few blocks from 1125 Pine. He died <br />in 2001. Ruby Dangreau's maiden name was Motsinger and she is believed to have lived from <br />1917 to 2003. <br />This address has two cards for it that were completed by the Boulder County Assessor's Office, <br />in 1962 and 1977. The fact that there is no existing card for the house for the year 1948, when <br />the Assessor is believed to have first surveyed Louisville buildings, doesn't necessarily mean <br />that the house wasn't in existence at in 1948, as some cards are believed to have been <br />misplaced or lost. <br />The following photo of the house and a ground layout sketch are from the Boulder County <br />Assessor card that appears to be dated 1962: <br />
