Renewal Application — Spice China II Inc. d/b/a Spice China — <br />Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License — 269 McCaslin Blvd. <br />C. Renewal Application — LSL LLC d/b/a Melting Pot Restaurant <br />Louisville — Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License — 732 Main Street <br />Carlson called for any changes to the consent agenda. Watson moved the <br />consent agenda be approved. Lipton seconded. All in favor. Consent <br />agenda approved. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Special Events Permit Application — Sister Carmen Community Center <br />— 951 Spruce/surrounding area — November 22, 2018 9AM to Noon <br />Chairperson Carlson called the item and noted staff recommended approval. <br />The organizers of the Turkey Trot were present and noted they have outgrown <br />the beer garden at Por and now would like to obtain a special event permit for the <br />alcohol service. The event is a run and also a giving event to provide Sister <br />Carmen with donations. <br />The Authority members discussed the statutory requirement for having snacks <br />available at a special event serving alcohol. The organizers noted Bittersweet <br />and Twelve Degree would be open and there will be persons giving away snack <br />bars. The alcohol service will be minimal and the crowds disappear quickly. The <br />organizers agreed to have some snacks available. <br />Lipton moved the Authority approve the Special Events Permit Application for <br />Sister Carmen Community Center. Kaufman seconded. All in favor. <br />B. Conversation with Chief Hayes <br />Chief Hayes was unable to attend. <br />C. Proposed fee increases <br />Secretary Hanson noted this is part of an annual review of fees and staff is <br />proposing an increase of 5% for the application fees for new and transferred <br />liquor licenses. Authority members were supportive of the proposed fees as <br />presented in the packet material. <br />Police Department Reports <br />A. Incident Report — Bittersweet/Por — 8/24/18 <br />
