It is also eligible as a Louisville Local <br />Landmark for its association with French and Italian immigrant coal -mining families, and its association with a <br />locally prominent citizen, Julian Gradel, who held several key local positions and was noted as "the recognized <br />boss of that place (Louisville)." <br />37B.
