Statement of significance: This house is an example of a later infill building constructed within Louisville's first <br />residential subdivision, Jefferson Place near the end of the district period of significance. The property is <br />significant for its 60-year association with the Cable family that continues to the present day. The house was <br />built by long-time Louisville resident Thomas Cable, who lived his entire life in Louisville and was very active in <br />the community. <br />43.
