Statement of Significance <br />Additions and alterations to this building have compromised its integrity to such an extent that is not individually <br />eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. The building, though, does retain enough integrity <br />to qualify as a contributing property within a potential National Register historic district. The house is historically <br />significant for is association with residential development in Louisville during the first half of the twentieth century. <br />The house is architecturally significant as a representative example of a wood frame front gabled dwelling. <br />43. Assessment of historic physical integrity related to significance: <br />This house's historical integrity has been compromised by a large second story addition, over an earlier 1940s <br />addition, and by a large shed -roofed dormer on the south facing roof slope. <br />
