Cā¢ <br />1ty.°f Um Louisville <br />COLORADO SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 13, 2018 <br />City Hall, Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />700PM <br />Call to Order ā Mayor Muckle called the meeting to order at TOO p.m <br />The following members were present: <br />City Council Mayor Robert Muckle <br />Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Lipton <br />Councilmember Jay Keany <br />Councilmember Chris Leh (arrived at 7.02 pm) <br />Councilmember Susan Loo <br />Councilmember Dennis Maloney <br />Absent: Councilmember Ashley Stolzmann <br />Staff Present: Heather Balser, City Manager <br />Megan Davis, Deputy City Manager <br />Aaron DeJong, Economic Development Director <br />Rob Zuccaro, Planning & Building Safety Director <br />Emily Hogan, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Katie Baum, Sustainability Specialist <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION ā FINAL MARKET ANALYSIS, INPUT, AND SCENARIO <br />PLANNING FOR MCCASLIN AREA DEVELOPMENT STUDY <br />Dan Guimond, City consultant from EPS, stated the sales tax in the McCaslin Subarea <br />is trending up about six percent annually from 2013 ā 2017 The majority is from <br />building materials and eating/drinking establishments. He reviewed the study area and <br />the larger trade area He noted retail findings show the subarea's role as a regional <br />destination is diminishing and there is an opportunity to attract more neighborhood retail <br />stores.
