Report from the LRC meeting: Rob Kelly: The LHA has not attended the LRC meeting. yet. <br />The City Council and the LRC are meeting on October 28ei.to discuss the economic impact study <br />for the downtown. Please go to the City of Louisville Council website for the Highway 42 <br />Market analysis that will be presented tonight. Heather Balser will review the next two agendas <br />of the LRC for November 17c' and the December meeting and determine when the LHA Boazd <br />could present and discuss with the LRC. <br />Meeting for December 9s' at 8:OOam with the location to be confirmed. Susan is to send an email <br />to Heathei Balser and Deborah Borelli confirming the consolidation of the November and <br />December meetings into a December 9s' meeting with the location (proposed for Lydia Morgan). <br />Finance Resort <br />Review of September 2008 financial statements <br />Lisa review the months financials and they are presented in the board packet. <br />Grant for Acme Strlar Project <br />The LHA was awarded a grant from Energy Outreach Colorado for the installation of a l Okw <br />system at Acme Place for $16,381. Jim Wilson, Rehabilitation Coordinator for BCHA, <br />completed the grant application and scope of work. Action item: Confirm with Jim Wilson that <br />the roof shingles have been replaced prior to the installation of the solaz panels. The LHA Boazd <br />suggested that staff look into getting press coverage for the awazd from Energy Outreach <br />Colorado from the Daily Camera and the Louisville Times. <br />The LHA Board had a significant discussion regarding the foreclosure problems in the region <br />and how they are affecting tenants and single-family rental property owners. <br />Status of 2008 Audit <br />The LHA Auditors will be present in the HA ofTices beginning the week of November 17a' <br />Review of 2009 Proposed Budgets and Capital Plan <br />Lisa Bangs reviewed the proposed budgets and capital plan that is detailed in the packet <br />beginning on page 43 of the October packet.. The Budget Summary details the assumptions that <br />Lisa used in establishing the spreadsheets. <br />Resolution 2008-06: A Resolution Approving Operating Budgets <br />Rob Kelly makes a motion to approve the budget, Scott seconds.
