The Committee unanimously recommended Gordon, Hughes, & <br />Banks. LLP <br />LIST OF BILLS <br />The List of Bills scheduled for approval at the August 18, 2008 Council Meeting <br />were discussed by the Finance Committee. The Committee requested additional <br />information on a $100 payment to Jeff Gazaway. In addition, the Committee did <br />not ask for any additional information, but discussed the costs associated with <br />the Fall Festival and the purchasing procedures for gas and diesel. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING & MEETING SCHEDULE <br />The Committee felt that it was not necessary to meet during the 2009 budget <br />development process unless there are specific issues {other than financial and <br />sales tax reports) to discuss. <br />The next meeting is tentatively set for September 15, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the <br />City Manager's Office. Discussion items currently scheduled for that meeting <br />are: <br />• Financial Statements for the Period Ended August 31, 2008. <br />• Sales Tax Reports for the Period Ended July 31.2008. <br />• Cash and Investments Balances as of August 31, 2008. <br />Staff will notify Committee members of future meeting dates. <br />ADJOURN <br />The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m. <br />4 <br />
