City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 11!18/08 Page 2 of 3 LETTER FROM GORDON, HUGHES, & BANKS, LLP The Finance Director presented a letter stating that, effective November 1, 2008, Gordon, Hughes, & Banks, LLP will join Eide Bailly, LLP. REPORT ON SPECIAL EVENTS Meredyth Muth, Public Relations Manager, presented the 2008 financial reports for July 4"' and Fall Festival Events. The statements and corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at www.ci.louisville.co.~.as. NON-PROFIT FUNDING APPLICATIONS The Finance Director presented applications for City funding from non-profit organizations. The Committee agreed to review the applications and discuss at the next meeting. REQUEST FOR GIUALIFICATIONS -FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The Finance Director presented a proposed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document intended to prequalify software vendors for receipt of the City's Request for Proposals (RFP). The Committee approved the document and the intended process. SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2008 The Finance Director presented the September 30, 2008 Sales Tax Report. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2008 The Accounting Manager presented the October 31, 2008 Financial Statements. The statements and corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at www.ci.louisville.co.us. SCHEDULE OF CASH & INVESTMENTS AS OF JULY 31, 2008 The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investment as of July 31, 2008. The schedule and corresponding narrative can be located on the City's website at www.ci.louisville.co.us. In addition to the presentation, the Committee discussed the liquidity restrictions at CSAFE. 3
