Street Junction. <br /> <br />Kimmett commented that the applicant marked "no" on all the boxes even if it didn't apply. <br />Attorney to the Authority suggested that we suggest to the State that the next time they revise the <br />application forms that they put in a "n/a" box. <br /> <br />American Legion Walter Rhodes Post No. 111 - 1130 Pine Street <br />Club Liquor License - w/extended hours <br /> <br />Morris called for any discussion or motion from the Authority on the renewal application for <br />American Legion Walter Rhodes Post No. 111. <br /> <br />Kimmett disclosed that he is a member of the American Legion and requested to be excused from <br />discussion and voting. <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Kimmett stated that he was very impressed with Sgt. Walt Atkinson for his presentation to <br />the training session. The attendants of the training session will be issued certificates and a letter <br />of appreciation from the Authority for their attendance. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />AUTHORITY COMMENTS <br /> <br />Garelick, Jeffers and Kimmett were very pleased with the training session. Jeffers felt that a letter <br />should be sent to all license holders telling them that the training session had been held and that <br />there was a good turn out, but the Authority hopes that more people will attend in the future. <br /> <br />Sgt. Atkinson expressed his concern that there is currently no open container law in Louisville. <br />Jeff.ers suggested that Atkinson talk to Chief Goodman and that either Chief Goodman or Sgt. <br />Atkinson come back to the Authority with a proposal. <br /> <br />The Authority requested that there be a representative from the Police Department to the <br />Authority and that Sgt. Atkinson would be an excellent choice. <br /> <br />Garelick welcomed Chris Pritchard on behalf of the Authority. Chris is the new Associate <br />Member replacing Lisa Stephens. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> <br />
