Kimmett disclosed that he is a member of the American Legion and requested to be excused from discussion and voting. SECRETARY'S REPORT Bill Kimmett stated that he was very impressed with Sgt. Walt Atkinson for his presentation to the training session. The attendants of the training session will be issued certificates and a letter of appreciation from the Authority for their attendance. AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT NONE AUTHORITY COMMENTS Garelick, Jeffers and Kimmett were very pleased with the training session. Jeffers felt that a letter should be sent to all license holders telling them that the training session had been held and that there was a good turn out, but the Authority hopes that more people will attend in the future. Sgt. Atkinson expressed his concern that there is currently no open container law in Louisville. Jeff.ers suggested that Atkinson talk to Chief Goodman and that either Chief Goodman or Sgt. Atkinson come back to the Authority with a proposal. The Authority requested that there be a representative from the Police Department to the Authority and that Sgt. Atkinson would be an excellent choice. Garelick welcomed Chris Pritchard on behalf of the Authority. Chris is the new Associate Member replacing Lisa Stephens. ADJOURNMENT
