11: City,/ <br />im Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />LOUISVILLE REVITALIZATION <br />COMMISSION <br />SUBJECT: <br />FINAL ASSESSMENT FIGURES FROM BOULDER COUNTY <br />ASSESSOR <br />DATE: DECEMBER 10, 2018 <br />PRESENTED BY: AARON DEJONG, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />SUMMARY: <br />Staff is updating the LRC members of revised incremental final assessment values of <br />taxable new construction within the Highway 42 Urban Renewal Area. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The 2018 preliminary increment valuation from the Boulder County Assessor was <br />$18,448,647 generating $1,615,382 in TIF revenue assuming a mill levy of 87.561. <br />Boulder County submits a final assessment figure to taxing authorities in late November <br />to accurately reflect the actual property values owners will pay taxes. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Based upon the attached final valuations, the Highway 42 Urban Renewal District has <br />an incremental value of $19,035,436 generating $1,666,761 in TIF revenue assuming a <br />mill levy of 87.561. This represents a 3.2% increase in valuation from the preliminary <br />valuation in August. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This memorandum is for informational purposes only.
