liquor license was in the name of one corporation but the building lease
was in the name of someone else?

APPLICANT:

This is the first liquor license that we have asked for. Denstar Corp. does
not have any other liquor licenses.

Jeffers requested that the applicant provide the Authority a copy of the building diagram with
dimensions or scale for the rooms. This is needed to define the premises and where the kitchen
facility is for the restaurant license. The applicant was asked to also provide a reduced copy of the
PUD or plat showing the exact location within the Centennial Marketplace.

KIMMETT:

Are you going to have a full-time manager out there?

APPLICANT:

I will have several of them, but my name will be on every restaurant that
we open. I am totally responsible for the operation of every restaurant.
My individual history is in the application and I am on the Master File with
the State.

SALAS:

MORRIS:

Does the Authority want the Attorney to the Authority to review the
building lease agreement7

Yes, the code states that the premises and license must have the same
name. If we have one name on the license and another on the lease we may
run into difficulties with the state.

GARELICK:

APPLICANT:

If this is the only liquor license you have in the state, what are your
intentions towards training your managers and staff?.

This is the only liquor license at this time. I plan to have beer and wine in
every unit that I open. Denny's has an intensive training program for
serving beer and wine. The training crew that comes will be here for
twenty-three days from Denny's Corporation. Serving of beer and wine is a
large part of the training. There are a couple of people that actually teach
the class inside the restaurant to everyone that will be serving alcohol.
From the ongoing it will be the manager's responsibility to train new hires
that come in.

Morris called for any additional comments or questions from the Authority.
NONE.

MORRIS:

Is there any interested party in the audience who wishes to speak in favor
of the application?

NONE.

Is there any interested party in the audience who wishes to speak in
opposition to the application?
