11: City,/ <br />im Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />AGENDA ITEM 5C <br />SUBJECT: <br />APPROVAL OF DESIGNATION OF PLACES FOR POSTING <br />NOTICES FOR PUBLIC MEETINGS <br />DATE: JANUARY 8, 2019 <br />PRESENTED BY: MEREDYTH MUTH, CITY CLERK <br />SUMMARY: <br />Section 24-6-402(2)(c) of the Colorado Open Meetings Law requires all public bodies of <br />the City designate the public place or places for posting of notices of public meetings. <br />The designation must be made at the local body's first regular meeting of each calendar <br />year. Staff requests City Council approve the following locations for the posting of <br />meeting notices for 2019: <br />• City Hall, 749 Main Street <br />• Police Department/Municipal Court, 992 West Via Appia <br />• Recreation/Senior Center, 900 West Via Appia <br />• Louisville Public Library, 951 Spruce Street <br />Pursuant to the Home Rule Charter, meeting notices and agendas are also published <br />on the City's web site at www.LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />N/A <br />PROGRAM/SUB-PROGRAM IMPACT: <br />The goals of the Governance & Administration Sub -Program include ensuring "inclusive, <br />responsive, transparent, friendly, fiscally responsible, effective, and efficient <br />governance, administration, and support." <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve designation of posting locations as listed above. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None. <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />28 <br />
