SUBJECT: ORDINANCE 1769, SERIES 2019 — MARIJUANA ORDINANCE UPDATES <br />DATE: JANUARY 8, 2019 <br />PAGE 7OF15 <br />The following table compares the City's current marijuana regulations to other local <br />jurisdictions. Of the communities that allow retail and medical marijuana stores, <br />Boulder, Boulder County and Lafayette have a buffer between 500 and 1,000 feet. <br />Lafayette has a limit on the total number of retail stores allowed, while Boulder and <br />Boulder County do not have a limit. Boulder limits retail store size to 3,000 square feet, <br />while Boulder County and Lafayette do not have a size limit.
