AUTHORITY SECRETARY: VICE CHAIR: LIPTON: VICE CHAIR: AUTHORITY ATTORNEY: VICE CHAIR: The hearing will follow the procedures set out in the current Bylaws of The Authority. The Secretary to the Authority has a few comments. The application is for a Beer and Wine liquor license. I have provided copies of the complete application to each Authority member. The application is complete. Fingerprint reports have been received and are included in the application. Public notice of this hearing has been posted and published in accordance with state law. The Authority Attorney has also reviewed the application and enclosed a memo to the Authority regarding applicant's fingerprint reports. Are there any Authority member disclosures? NONE The Authority previously set the boundaries of the neighborhood for the license as the current boundaries of the City of Louisville. Does anyone present object to the boundaries of the neighborhood being the current boundaries of the City of Louisville? NONE. If not, we will proceed with the hearing. The Authority Attomey has a few comments. In considering the application filed by Sanabria Enterprise, Inc. d/b/a Abo's Pizza, the Authority is acting in a quasi-judicial capacity. The Authority's decision must be based on the evidence presented to it at the hearing tonight and the legal requirements set out in state laws. Under state law, you must consider the character of the applicant, the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood for this type of license, the desires of the adult inhabitants of the neighborhood, and the number, type and availability of other similar outlets in the neighborhood.
