Call to Order <br /> Laura called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> 2. Roll Call <br /> Board Members Present: Laura Scott Denton, Missy Davis, Fiona Garvin, Peter Gowen, <br /> Tom Neville, David Blankenship, Mike Schantz <br /> Board Members Absent: Helen Moshak <br /> City Council Members Present: Jeff Lipton <br /> Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Nathan Mosley <br /> 3. Approval of Agenda <br /> Laura proposed to revise the agenda as follows: Move City Council Appreciation up to <br /> Agenda Item #5, to Jeff Lipton's schedule. <br /> Peter moved to approve the agenda with the aforementioned change(s). Tom seconded. <br /> The motion passed unanimously. <br /> 4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br /> Peter moved to approve the minutes as written. Laura seconded. The motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> 5. City Council Liaison Update <br /> A. Board Schedule - postponed; Bob Muckle requested this item to discuss possibly <br /> changing the standing meeting day. <br /> B. Parking Structure Downtown: plan was presented and discussed but erroneous <br /> perception that preliminary plans represented a "done deal" generated strong <br /> feeling in the community; plans tabled at this time. <br /> C. Council is considering amending regulations re: marijuana manufacturing, <br /> cultivation and sales in terms of number of facilities, where located. <br /> D. Trash contract: Republic Disposal was awarded the contract due to submitting <br /> lower bid than Western Disposal (current contractor). <br /> E. Council's work plan for the year has been finalized; available to OSAB if <br /> interested. <br /> F. Communications specialist position has been approved and is in the process of <br /> being hired. Job duties will include communicating more proactively with the <br /> community to try to reduce big community response based on incomplete (and <br /> sometimes erroneous) information from social media. <br /> 6.
