Cultural Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />21 March 2019 <br />Louisville City hall, 749 Main St, Louisville, CO <br />6:30pm <br />I. Call to Order <br />II. Roll Call <br />a. Members present: Beth McLennan, Robby Pitt, Kim Poletti, Kate Ward, Leah Franks, <br />Mark Cathcart, Adam Sloat, Sean Moynihan, Debbie Davies <br />b. Members absent: Mike Crowe <br />c. City Representatives present: Katie Zoss, Jeff Lipton <br />III. Attendance and Volunteer Hours Log were circulated <br />IV. Approval of Today's Agenda: Sean motioned to approve, Mark seconded, all approved <br />V. PublicComments: Adam introduced MartaTrumball, who attended the meeting as an <br />interested citizen. <br />VI. Correction and/orApproval of February Meeting Minutes: Debbie pointed out a typo —adding <br />"at" in the second sentence of Section IX, Item C. It was also pointed out by several members <br />that the section was missingthe Item D notation. Debbie motioned to approve, Mark seconded, <br />all approved. <br />VII. Chair's Report (Adam): <br />a. Reminderthatwe are close to the last administrative meetingforthe spring, so there is <br />plenty to do before we adjourn forthe June andJulyconcert series. <br />b. Adam met with current member Kate and former member Blake Welch to discuss the <br />public art sculpture project. <br />c. Is there more we can do to follow the City's Cultural Arts Master Plan? One suggestion is <br />to plan some happy hours for further discussion. <br />d. Reminderto please stay on the agenda at each meeting and be mindful ofJeff's time. <br />VIII. Treasurer's Report (Debbie): <br />a. Reminderthatwe still have $19,000 to spend before September. <br />b. There will not be a lot of income from the events currently on the schedule, but most <br />events pay forthemselves with sometimes a little extra. <br />IX. City Council Report(Jeff): <br />a. Jeff is back aftermissingthe last two meetings. <br />b. The Council will have a study session inOctobertodiscuss public art. <br />i. There is some interest in providing more money for public art. <br />ii. The Council would welcome inputfrom the LCC. <br />iii. Mark asked abouttimingfordeciding on the input, Adam said let's do that <br />during the August and September meetings. <br />iv. Mark mentioned the Art in the Neighborhoods program. <br />
