Authority <br />Attomey: <br /> <br />In considering the application filed by Firegrill 2100, Inc. d/b/a Firegrill, the Authority is <br />acting in a quasi-judicial capacity. The Authority's decision must be based on the evidence <br />presented to it at the hearing tonight and the legal requirements set out in state laws. Under <br />state law, you must consider the character of the applicant, the reasonable requirements of <br />the neighborhood for this type of license, the desires of the adult inhabitants of the <br />neighborhood, and the number, type, and availability of other similar outlets in the <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />Will the applicant please colne forward, state your nme and address for file record, ,'md <br />take the oath. <br /> <br />Jon Stonebraker, Attorney, Dill, Dill, Carr, Stonebraker & Hutchings representing the applicant, 455 <br />Sherman, Suite 300, Denver, CO 80203. <br /> <br />Mr. Stonbraker, attorney for the applicant gave a brief overview of the application and the applicants <br />history. <br /> <br />Mr. Stonebraker introduced Max Scott, owner of Oedipus, Inc., a professional petitioning company. Mr. <br />Scott's company circulated the petition for Firegrill. <br /> <br />Authority <br /> Secretary: <br /> <br /> Do you solemnly swear or affirm under penalty of perjury that the testimony you are about <br /> to give will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? <br /> <br /> Scott: Yes. I mn Max Scott, owner of Oedipus, Inc., P.O. Box 319, Boulder, CO 80306. <br /> Evans: Would you xnake your presentation please? <br /> <br />Mr. Scott explained the petitioning process used for Fircgrill and the results of the petition. The citizens <br />petitioned were in favor of Firegrill receiving a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License w/Extended Hours. <br /> <br /> Evans: Does any interested party in the audience have questions of the applicant? <br /> NONE. <br /> Evans: Do any inembers of the Authority have questions of the applicant? <br /> <br /> Authority member Kimmett asked when the applicant would have a manager selected tbr the <br /> restaurant.
