Focused Grants <br />The following work items are eligible for funding as flexible or focused grants because <br />they fall under "sustaining the existing form, integrity, and material of a historic <br />property". The following work items are limited to a total of $15,000 with a match of <br />$15,000 from the applicant: <br />• Site: $2,400 <br />o Site Grading <br />o Remove Tree <br />o Fencing (repair and replace missing section) <br />• Foundation: $5,900 <br />o Foundations to support main floor <br />o Repair/sealant at existing perimeter <br />o Excavation <br />• Structural Systems: $5,444 <br />o Reinforce main floor framing <br />o Porch floor framing <br />• Exterior Siding: $9,600 <br />o Repair, prep, pain historic siding and trim <br />• Appurtenances: $2,760 <br />o Porch, upper fretwork <br />• Envelope Insulation: $5,100 <br />o Insulation, wall <br />o Insulation, roof <br />• Envelope — Roofing and Waterproofing: $13,850 <br />o Roofing <br />o Repair gutters and downspouts <br />• Doors and Windows: $10,600 <br />o Window — full restoration (x5) <br />o Exterior door — repair main level <br />TOTAL COST OF WORK - $55,654 (max $15,000 with $15,000 match) <br />The applicant is requesting half of the 20% contingency ($9,586). <br />Request to Exceed Grant Maximum <br />The applicant is requesting a grant amount of $57,515 be considered under Resolution <br />No. 2, Series 2012, Section 7(b) which allows for grant amounts to exceed the $20,000 <br />limitation when there is a "showing of extraordinary circumstances" and applicant <br />matches "at least one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the grant". Costs to the <br />applicant for eligible work is $37,929 ($67,515 less interior finishes, contingency and <br />permit fees). <br />
