Language <br />would have to reflect a downtown project versus not in downtown but still in <br />URA. <br />Other projects — completion of Grain Elevator, Voltage project, (both have <br />approved PUDs) <br />There is only 140,000 sf of projects that could be developed downtown. <br />City Manager Balser said staff will go back and provide Council with LRC's <br />recommended language. <br />Commissioner Dalton suggested members could attend the City Council <br />meeting and give comments as individuals. <br />Last paragraph on page 3 should be first. <br />Commissioner Bradfield asked if the city has a roadmap that lays out process. <br />No, Terraces is the first project. <br />Mike Krandorf believes this muddies the waters. He agrees with Commissioner <br />Dalton. If the project meets PUD requirements, the applicant should be eligible <br />to ask for assistance. There really isn't a basis for agreement. <br />City Manager Balser said based on this conversation, staff can reference this <br />discussion and possible suggested language. Perhaps have a joint meeting <br />with Council. <br />Commissioner Adler noted that page 2, letter I, are there thoughts around <br />working about alternative transportation? Letter E may address it. <br />• Project Updates <br />DeJong said that, thanks to City Manager Balser, approvals have been short <br />circuited for Short St. Intersection improvements are under way. <br />Terraces — will be discussed at Tuesday's meeting. <br />5 <br />
