RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF REQUEST FOR A FINAL PLAT, <br />FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND SPECIAL REVIEW USE FOR A 44,600 <br />SQ. FT. EXPANSION TO THE EXISTING 57,400 SQ. FT. CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />RECREATION CENTER FACILITY LOCATED AT 900 VIA APPIA <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an <br />application for approval of a request for of a Final Plat, a Final Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) and Special Review Use for a 44,600 sq. ft. expansion to the <br />existing 57,400 sq. ft. City of Louisville Recreation Center facility located at 900 Via <br />Appia; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found <br />that, subject to conditions, the application complies with the Louisville zoning and <br />subdivision regulations and other applicable sections of the Louisville Municipal Code; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the application at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on June 8, 2017, where evidence and testimony were entered <br />into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report <br />dated June 8, 2017. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a request for of a Final Plat, a <br />Final Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Special Review Use for a 44,600 sq. ft. <br />expansion to the existing 57,400 sq. ft. City of Louisville Recreation Center facility <br />located at 900 Via Appia: <br />1. Prior to the City Council hearing, the applicant shall amend the plans to provide a <br />continuous pedestrian connection between the Via Appia sidewalk and the new <br />sidewalk along the west side of the parking lot. <br />2. Prior to the City Council hearing, the applicant shall comply with all Louisville Fire <br />Protection District requirements and comment in the March 28, 2017 review <br />letter. <br />3.
