RESOLUTION NO. 17 <br />SERIES 2018 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REQUEST TO AMEND TITLE <br />17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS <br />RELATED TO RETAILA AND MEDICAL MARIJUANA BUSINESSES, AND <br />CULTIVATION, TESTING AND MANUFACTURING OF MARIJUANA PRODUCTS <br />WHEREAS, the zoning ordinances within the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) <br />include previously adopted regulations for medical and retail marijuana businesses; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to amend these regulations to serve the health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the application at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on October 11, 2018, where evidence and testimony were entered <br />into the record on December 13, 2018, including the findings in the Louisville Planning <br />Commission Staff Report dated July 12, 2018. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of an ordinance amending Title <br />17 of the Louisville Municipal Code regarding certain provisions related to retail and <br />medical marijuana businesses, marijuana cultivation, and testing and manufacturing of <br />marijuana products with the following changes: <br />1. Place an 8-store limit on the number of marijuana stores allowed in City limits. <br />2. Remove the 1500-feet spacing requirement between marijuana stores. <br />3. Maintain the current buffer zone of 1320 feet with the same list of buffer uses. <br />4.
