RESOLUTION NO. 11 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR A GENERAL <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT CONCERNING ALLOWED USES, HEIGHTS, <br />DENSITIES, AND OTHER DEVELOPMENT PROVISIONS FOR LOTS 2 AND 3, <br />CENTENNIAL VALLEY PARCEL 0, 7TH FILING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville zoned Lots 2 and 3, Centennial Valley Parcel 0, <br />7th Filing as Planning Community Zone District along with approval of the first Centennial <br />Valley General Development Plan (GDP) in 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has approved several amendments to the GDP <br />since 1983, with the most current GDP amendment approval taking place on July 28, <br />2015 by Ordinance 1696, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville desires to amend the GDP to allow a mix of uses <br />and to updated development standards for Lots 2 and 3, Centennial Valley Parcel 0, 7th <br />Filing in order to support existing commercial development in the McCaslin corridor and <br />provide a desirable environment for new regional and neighborhood commercial <br />development; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the application at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on June 13, 2019, where evidence and testimony were entered <br />into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report <br />dated June 13, 2019. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a General Development Plan <br />Amendment concerning allowed uses, heights, densities, and other development <br />provisions for Lots 2 and 3, Centennial Valley Parcel O, 7th Filing, with the following <br />conditions: <br />• The residential height in the buffer be reduced to 2 stories and 30 feet to parapet <br />or roof ridge and 35 feet to mechanical, matching the commercial height in the <br />buffer. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of June, 2019. <br />Att <br />" > ebra i liams, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />By: <br />Steve Brauneis, Chairperson <br />Planning Commission <br />
