RESOLUTION NO. 12 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING SIGN <br />REGULATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville previously adopted procedures and standards <br />pertaining to the regulation of signs within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to adopt and incorporate into the <br />Louisville Municipal Code a new Sign Code for the City of Louisville, which Sign Code <br />includes standards and guidelines for all signs in the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to repeal the Downtown Louisville <br />Sign Manual and make corresponding amendments to Chapter 17.24 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code and the City of Louisville Mixed Use, Commercial and Industrial <br />Development Design Standards and Guidelines; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the application at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on June 13, 2019, where evidence and testimony were entered <br />into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report <br />dated June 13, 2019. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a request to approve an <br />Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code regarding sign regulations <br />throughout the City of Louisville. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th of June, 2019. <br />Att <br />ebra Williams, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />By: <br />Ste Brauneis, Chairperson <br />Planning Commission <br />
