L1ty of Department of Planning and Building Safety <br />Louisville 749 Street • Louisville CO 80027 • 303.335.4592 • www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Building Code Board of appeals <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June fith, 2019 <br />City Hall, Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order: Matt Berry called the meeting to order at 6:32 PM. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Matt Berry, Peter Giese, Ed Novik, Steve <br />Knapp <br />Board Members Absent: Mason Gatto <br />Staff Members Present: Chad Root, Chief Building Official, Julie <br />Burgener, permit tech <br />Approval of Agenda: <br />Knapp moved and Peter seconded a motion to approve the agenda as prepared by <br />staff. Voice vote. Motion passed 4-0. <br />Approval of Minutes: <br />Board member Berry asked for corrections (item one- add Matt's statement- the <br />BCBOA is not acting as a Consumer Protection Agency; item two -add a reference to <br />a meeting Root had with Severy), Giese motions, Knapp seconds the minutes not be <br />approved till items are added. Voice vote. Motion passed 4-0. <br />Public Comments on Items on the Agenda: <br />Resident, Ted Hine was allowed a twenty one minute statement for the public record <br />presenting his case regarding the quasi-judicial hearing with Severy Creek held on <br />April 18th, 2019, in which he was unable to attend. Berry thanked the Mr Hine for <br />attending the meeting. <br />Regular Business: <br />Bylaw adjustments -Matt Berry would like the wording-- once a contractor's license <br />is revoked and/or suspended all work must stop —which could result in a unfortunate <br />or dangerous situation for homeowner.
