City Council <br />Special Meeting Minutes <br />October 1, 2008 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />Mayor Sisk addressed the City advancing funds to the golf course and noted the <br />golf course is an asset and a good investment. <br />Councilor Sackett stated the City is 'lending funds to the Golf Course with <br />interest. <br />Councilor Muckle asked why another fund could not be the source of the loan to <br />the Golf Course for the next three years. City Manager Fleming thought it was <br />an excellent suggestion. <br />Councilor Muckle felt all the City's assets should be protected, including the <br />sprinkling of the museum. He supported the emergency warning system. <br />City Manager Fleming thanked Finance Director Watson and all the City Staff for <br />their work on the 2009 proposed budget. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilor Sackett moved for adjournment, seconded by <br />Clabots.
