Resolution No. 48, Series 2008 - A Resolution Approving a <br />Proposed 2008 Operating Plan and Budget of the Main Street <br />Louisville Business Improvement District <br />D. Approval to Conduct a Special Meeting in Lieu of Sfudy Session <br />on November 20, 2008 at 5:00 PM and to Conduct a Special <br />Meeting on November 13, 2008 at 5:00 PM for the purpose of <br />Board and Commission Vacancies Interviews <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO addressed his complaint <br />against Comcast Cable Television and the City's response relative to his <br />complaint. He distributed copies of a document entitled the Customer Service <br />Standards, which incorporated sections of the Franchise Agreement between the <br />City of Louisville and Comcast of Colorado. He reviewed the policy for customer <br />standards, and the procedure for filing citizen complaints. He outlined the <br />process he followed in filing his complaint to Comcast, which included writing <br />monthly letters. <br />Councilor Muckle arrived to the meeting at 7:14 p.m. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk reminded Council of the meeting with RTD at the Louisville Public <br />Library on October 23 at 7:30 a.m. The next regular City Council meeting will be <br />Monday, November 3, 2008, due to the Tuesday, November 4, 2008 election. He <br />reminded the residents to exercise their right to vote. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported on the following: <br />• Golf Course parking lot paving project started on October 20, and should <br />be completed in two weeks. <br />• He thanked Chief Goodman and Commander Kingston for their work with <br />the public, in particular, meeting with the father of a young woman who <br />suffered from a head injury. The father expressed his thanks to the entire <br />Police Department and gave special thanks to Officers Shad Watts, Kristin <br />Brown, and JJ Wittenberg for the kindness they extended to his daughter. <br />
