Approval of Resolution No. 51, Series 2008 - A Resolution <br />Approving aMonth-to-Month Lease Agreement for the Lease of <br />Lot 6, Block 4, Town of Louisville <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO noted November 3~d, marked <br />the 4th anniversary of the citizens' approval of Louisville Ballot Issue 200. He <br />reviewed City documents, which presented a technology plan and a plan for its <br />implementation, as required by Ballot Issue 200. He requested the City provide a <br />detailed accounting of the implementation of the technology plan. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk noted tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, is Election Day and he urged <br />Louisville residents to exercise their right to vote. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported on the following: <br />• The US Environmental Protection Agency has awarded the "Keep it Clean <br />Partnership" (which includes the Cities of Boulder, Louisville and <br />Longmont, the Towns of Superior and Erie, and Boulder County) second <br />place nationally for their Stormwater cleaning program. <br />• The United States Post Office will not renew their lease for the present <br />downtown facility due to difficult economic conditions and will close the <br />downtown Post Office. Mayor Sisk noted the Council was aware the Post <br />Office may not renew their lease when the Post Office building was <br />purchased. <br />Councilor Muckle arrived at the meeting at 7:14 p.m. <br />
