The voters approved the measure. The ordinance provides for the <br />following: <br />• Imposes a new sales tax of 0.125% to commence January 1, 2009 and <br />continues for 10 years; <br />• Establishes a special revenue fund for proceeds from the tax to be spent <br />exclusively on historic preservation for the following: <br />
