Taylor Avenue and Dogwood Street. He commended <br />them for committing to many green initiativE;s to reduce its carbon <br />footprint. <br />ConocoPhillips Timeline: In response to comments about ConocoPhillips <br />delaying the Louisville Project, he reported the project has not been <br />delayed. ConocoPhillips now has a better understanding of the magnitude <br />of the project and how long it will take to deconstruct the existing <br />buildings, develop the design for the facilities and construct them as part <br />of the first phase of building. They are fully committed to the project and <br />expect the training and research facilities to open in 2013, <br />• Library services to the Town of Superior residents. A letter was sent to <br />3,500 Superior residents advising them their cards will be cancelled <br />effective January 1, 2009. Superior residents can visit the Louisville <br />Library, but cannot check out books, use the computers or attend <br />programs. Libraries who are members of the Flatirons Library Consortium <br />may continue to issue cards to Town of Superior, but those cards will not <br />be valid for Louisville Library materials or services. <br />Councilor Muckle arrived at 7:11 p.m. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />PRESENTATION OF 2008 EPA NATIONAL CLEAN WATER ACT <br />RECOGNITION AWARD FOR THE "KEEP IT CLEAN" PARTNERSHIP <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />Public Works Director Phare reported the City of Louisville was honored on <br />October 20, 2008 with a National Clean Water Acir Recognition Award from the <br />Environmental Protection Agency for its storm water program and involvement <br />with the Keep It Clean Partnership (KICP). The award recognizes communities' <br />efforts for outstanding water quality achievements. He introduced Ms. Janice <br />Lopitz, the Keep It Clean Partnership Coordinator. <br />Ms. Janice Lopitz presented a short power point presentation relating to the <br />City's stormwater program. She explained that the main goal of the KICP Group <br />is to comply with the federal and state municipal stormwater regulations. She <br />explained citizens, businesses, teachers and the construction industry can <br />participate in the program. Citizens can participate in a stream team, host water <br />stewardship meetings and host a speaker in their home. <br />
