Pursue a scientific approach to land <br />management <br />• Repeatable, in-house inventories of vegetation and wildlife done in a <br />manner that is representative and repeatable. Resource manager <br />position must be a candidate capable of this sort of scientific <br />approach. <br />• An ongoing, long-term ecosystem health scoring system. <br />• Updates available to public: how are we doing preserving the our land <br />for perpetuity? <br />Enhance user experience <br />• Outreach & enforcement of rules/regulation (e.g. ranger program). <br />• Decreasing barriers to usability (e.g. Wayfinding signs to lower user <br />reluctance to use trails, increasing network connectivity). <br />• Serving diverse user types: nature -lovers, dog -lovers, bike commuters, <br />recreational cyclists, destination walkers (e.g. school kids), joggers, seniors, <br />ADA users. <br />• Looking for opportunities to enhance nature play and access. <br />• Provide for adequate maintenance staffing and citizen -responsive <br />procedures. <br />9 <br />4 <br />
