RESOLUTION NO 37 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR <br />THE BUTCHER-JONES HOUSE LOCATED AT 1013 JEFFERSON AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />Butcher -Jones House, a historic residential structure located at 1013 Jefferson Avenue, on <br />property legally described as Lots 3-4, Block 2, Capitol Hill, Town of Louisville, City of <br />Louisville, State of Colorado, and <br />WHEREAS, the Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br />reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 3 20 605 D and <br />Section 15 36 120 of the Louisville Municipal Code, and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed Preservation and Restoration grant application and has <br />recommended the request be forwarded to the Louisville City Council with a recommendation <br />of approval, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed Preservation and <br />Restoration grant application and the Commission's recommendation and report, and has <br />held a properly noticed public hearing on the application, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed improvements will assist in the <br />preservation of the Butcher -Jones House, a local historic landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br />Section 1 The City Council hereby approves the Preservation and Restoration <br />Grant Application for work at the Butcher -Jones House located 1013 Jefferson Avenue, <br />subject to the following <br />1 Approved items are those in the proposed scope of work presented to City <br />Council totaling $4,390 00 <br />2 There is approved a total grant amount of $2,195.00 <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of Nov mber, 2019 <br />,67 <br />o-ROA$e f Muckle, yor <br />ATTEST <br />0 <br />P,,( pgi <br />eredyth Muth, Ciy Clerk <br />-14 <br />Resolution No. 37, Series 2019 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
