RESOLUTION NO. 08 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING A <br />PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR THE BUTCHER-.JONES HOUSE <br />LOCATED AT 1013 JEFFERSON AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />DiSalvo House, a historic residential structure located at 1013 Jefferson Avenue, on <br />property legally described as Lots 3-4, Block 2, Capital Hill, Town of Louisville, City of <br />Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found it to <br />be in compliance with Section 3.20.605,D and Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the HPC has held a properly noticed public hearing on the preservation <br />and restoration grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the preservation and restoration work being requested for the Butcher - <br />Jones House includes making repairs to the existing structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission finds these proposed <br />improvements will assist in the preservation of the Butcher -Jones House, which has been <br />previously landrnarked by the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1 The Historic Preservation Commission recommends the City Council <br />approve the proposed Preservation and Restoration Grant application for <br />the Butcher -Jones House, in the amount of $2,195. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 2019. <br />Cal inson, Vice Chair <br />1 <br />ynda Haley. {pemarl <br />
